My journey began in northern Mexico, where I was shaped by my mother’s entrepreneurial spirit. After years of living and working around the world, I faced a severe acne outbreak while in China. A visit to a traditional Chinese doctor revealed that my skin struggles were caused by a disconnect between my body and its environment.

This insight sparked a deep, holistic exploration of skincare—blending both Eastern and Western practices. I found myself missing the powerful plants I grew up with in Mexico, which I used to create facials as a young girl. I realized these healing plants should be shared with the world, helping others reconnect with nature.

I also connected with the ancient Mayan wisdom that teaches us to live in harmony with the naturalworld. The Mayans believed that the sun and moon were divine messengers, guiding us to find balance within ourselves and with the universe. This understanding of interconnectedness became the foundation of Ki’olal.

Ki’olal is a journey to restore harmony and balance. We combine ancient plant wisdom with modern skincare science to nourish the skin, calm the mind, and uplift the soul. Our rituals are a path to deeper connection and true beauty, created with love,intention and a deeper respect for the world around us.
